Port Hope vs Owen Sound - Port Hope was dominant all season, and their playoff hopes were never in question. Port Hope beat everyone this season and are the favorites to win this series, but Owen Sound is a strong team. Owen Sound played it strong right to the end, coming just short of being the FSH West champs.
I see Port Hope winning in 5.
Windsor vs Fredricton - Fredricton played well for most of the season, and were in cruise mode my August. Windsor was in a bloody battle with division rival Owen Sound, and needed every game to finally decide the division winner. Fredricton will go as far as Revelez will take them in this series. I'm not saying that Hayden is the only thing they have, but as he goes, the team goes.
Look for Windsor to beat Fredricton in 4.
Leduc vs Lethbridge - Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah every freaking year. Leduc is the true powerhouse of the league, and have been slaughtering teams with ease all season. Lethbridge is still a good team, but not in the same class as the Grizzlies anymore. Lethbridge battled hard all season and came away with the Wild Card by just a couple of games over up and comer Regina. The Typhoon pitching has not looked as dominating as it once did, and have traded away some key players over the season looking to get some youth.

Moose Jaw vs Creston - Moose Jaw makes it back to the playoffs, and plays the perennial FRM West champs. The Dragons had a tough fight all season with the Pirates, and finally pulled ahead in mid September. Moose Jaw ended up with the second best record in the FRM, and played very well against almost everyone. Creston didn't look like they were even going to be close to the playoffs a month ago, but they owned late September. Kelowna looked like they were going to win West and the Kelowna fans were going crazy, but the Americans lost some steam at the end of the season. Creston seen Kelowna struggling just a bit, and went for the kill. Creston is the hottest team in the CBL right now, winning 11 straight games! Moose Jaw may be good, but Creston is HOT!
I smell an upset, and see Creston winning in 4.
