Inside the Dugout - First Round Preview

(CBL Newswire) - By B-Mac of the Sherwood Shitrag

It is a little late preview but I’m enjoying the 0 degree weather in my hometown of Brandon. Time to pack up the bats and gloves and bring out the sticks and broken bones. Even for PEI, it’s time to pack ‘er up and find a new sport. But for diehard baseball fans, the Canadian Baseball League is beginning its playoffs. Here is a first round preview:

Quebec/Guelph: I stand on this statement: Quebec is the best team in the Fisherman’s and I expect them to be in it for beer. Guelph, on the other hand, has been on a roll lately, and thanks to Toronto (There is your credit JF), they are in. Two owners who have turn there franchises around. Prediction: Have to go Quebec in 4.

Windsor/Fredricton: People could say the Bandits have been lucky, bad division and all but this year, the Bandits had to use everything to get passed the charging Charlottetown Blues. On the other side is Windsor, who has a tough division as well. This series will come down to offense. Fredricton in 5, get them some respect.

Lethbridge/Cold Lake: HOLY GOD. What a first round match-up, two heavyweight dropping ‘em. Lethbridge won the first game in extra but these two will keep going. This is like the Yankees and Bo-Sox rivalry but these teams are evenly matched, LOL. I love Cold Lake IN this one but my gut says Lethbridge in 4.

Saskatoon/Kelowna: Guy had turned the Yellow Jackets in to a believer instead of a dreamer. This one is easy. “Yankee-doodle went to town, riding on his pony, went over to Saskatoon and got his [inaudible] ass kicked. Jackets in 3.

That is all, for the Shitrag, I’m B-Mac
