Inside the Dugout - 3 Burning Questions

(CBL Newswire) - by B-Mac of the Sherwood Shitrag

Question #1: Can the new look-Kelowna Americans get a playoff spot?
I was talking to Commissioner Graham Colvin the other day and he told me he had a bad dream. He said the Frank Halpa set in 15 trades in one day and it took a whole day to do. Sadly for Colvin, the dream came true. Since June 15, Kelowna has traded away all-stars like Jeramy Politi, Kenoriary Blem and Brennan Pavlo and has received numerous picks and all-star Bill Dennis and the average age has dropped from 64.46 to around 30. With the trade deadline approaching, will the drunken yankee-doodle Frank Halpa make anymore deals? ITD has received reports that he is in negotiations with a couple teams that could see more all-stars being swapped. Can his new team perform? After the deadline, he'll have two months to track down Moose Jaw, Regina and Lethbridge for the wild card and he still has a long way to go to catch Vancouver.

Question #2: Who will be drinking beer in October?
There will be a new champion this season barring any miracle comeback from Quebec so now the question is who? Cold Lake and Saskatoon could ride there LOW teams into the post-season as they have virtually locked up a playoff spot and same with Vancouver. Chances are, two teams out of Guelph, Owen Sound or Toronto will make the post-season and those teams could be there as well in late-October.

Question #3: Can the CBA be resolved?
Not a lot of info has been said yet. Commissioner Colvin and PA president Hayden Revelez have kept their mouths shut and the bartenders at the bar where meetings have been held can't speak due to the drunken asshole-bartender privilege so it is not admissible. Rumors have it that James Wesley has backed out of the CBA negotiations when he figured out that he had to pay the tab. Revelez says "no progress has been made" but Colvin called him a jackass and shoved a block of Swiss cheese down his own throat and then replaced Revelez's expensive Canadian beer with a cheap Mexican diet root beer. Since then, the two sides haven't talked.
