| Season Ending Showdown in Farmers East

The CBL Front Office was planning ahead when they scheduled a season ending season between Saskatchewan rivals the Moose Jaw Dragons and the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. The two top teams in the Farmers East Division will meet in the season's final series to in all likely hood decide the Farmers East division winner. Due to the wild card spot the second place team will also make the postseason so the drama is somewhat reduced but neither of these teams is likely to be happy to settle for second best.
With the two teams currently separated by just 1.5 games this final series will almost certainly decide who will be the Farmers East Division Champion. These clubs are no strangers to this. Last season they also finished just one game apart with Moose Jaw taking the title. This season however Saskatoon holds a 3-6 advantage in the season series but Moose Jaw is a strong finisher. Moose Jaw has the advantage in pitching but Saskatoon has the edge in hitting so it will come down to a battle between these two great teams.
