Fishermens West 2012 Preview

(CBL Newswire) - From The Dodgeball team in Kelowna

This is a daunting task trying to pick the winner between London,Toronto,Owen Sound and Guelph.
Its kind of like trying to find an ugly women at the playboy mansion,Really hard. Well here it goes anyways.

Owen Sound
The Crusaders have to be the favorites after winning 111 games last year so until someone proves otherwise this is the Dodgeball teams pick to win what looks to be a tuff division. Mr. Colvin has his work cut out for him thats for sure but has the horses on his pitching staff to carry the club.P.T.Barrett is just sick nasty good and I see a huge edge in the intangible category here.1B J.Letendre looks to have one last big season before hanging up his cleats.103-59

Guelph
The Storm are a star studded team with 5 allstars in 2011. Eric's team is anchored with a dynamite pitching staff and an infield allstar team with exception of a SS. The key question are can this team get over the hump and win the fisherman's?? Most experts say yes but not the Dodgeball team here in Kelowna. With a closer look at this teams outfield one has to wonder if they can get the job done and will Mr.Radcliff wear out his short pitching of only eight men??? Only time will tell..P-D.Kawalik had this to say recently"My arm is a little sore from throwing 49 innings already but I'm up for the challenge". 100-62

Toronto
Toronto is a solid team that should not be mentioned in third place but I had to pick somebody.Mr.Morin added some massive power to the lineup with 1B-Mackert and 1B-A.Jeoffrey. The staff is solid and has a splendid closer in Berganza. This pitching staff is just plain scary, almost to good to be true. This team has no real weakness and it would not surprise me to see them take not only the division but even the beer.

London
The Mustangs have a nice new logo and owner. Gilles Leblanc's team has finished first 5 of the last 6 seasons and could easily surprise the rest of the division but it not going to happen. The rookie owner will make some mistakes or will get a rash of injuries.P.W.Brown and C.Clair are going to have to over perform for the Mustangs to keep pace.London has a fantastic hitting lineup but will most likely lose 1B slugger Escalante soon since he's 38.With a rookie coach and 2 poor starters in the 4th and 5th spots I see a 4th place finish but you have to love the new logo. 94-68
