My initial reaction here after playing a little dodgeball was to pick Quebec for the division but then Justin pelted me in the head with one of those red dodgeballs and cleared my thinking.Here it is!!!
Ottawa
The Milkmen have been in a decline mode the last 2 seasons but look for that to change this year.They boast a few of the CBL's best players ever in Broadus and Meerdink.Can there two young catchers get the job done and can 2 guys carry a team?? Aaron is class act in Ottawa and he is over due for a first place finish.This will be the year. 95-67
Quebec
Quebec has some major work to do on that pitching staff. The batting lineup and defense looks good on paper but is'nt going to perform to there potential in the field.Claude has this team heading in the correct direction and they will improve from last seasons 74 wins.They don't have to worry about LF as Allstar Warner is a stud. Look for the Bulldogs to go out and get a top shelf starter so they can run with the big dogs. 89-73
Drummondvile
D-Ville is a hitters nightmare. This team can flat out pitch .. The questions for Shane is on the offensive side.Can Grief carry the whole load?? Will Hines have a break out year? Where will the hits come from?? The defending champs have some questions to answer and a division to defend but its going to be a tuff ride. If this team turns the corner and hits they will compete for the division.88-74
Val D'or
Val-Dor has another 4th place finish this year. Jeannot has a good team but they lack the fire power to hang with the big boys at the moment. This team has not had an Allstar in 5 seasons and i'm hard pressed to find one thats going to do it this year.The future is brighter for the sharks with some solid players in low looking to get called up soon as Cole and Slumpert are chomping at the bit.82-80 I'm being generous here.
Port Hope
The Battery have major problems. Daddy has some big decisions to make in Battery land. The pitching staff needs an over haul and the once offensive juggernaut is now nothing to talkabout. The key word for this team is REBUILDING. They should get a nice draft spot 1,2,or 3rd and a supp player also.. 52-110
