The season hasn't even started and the Fort McMurray Roughnecks have already struck oil! The much anticipated start to the new beginning for the troubled ball club has officialy begun. Thr Roughnecks have signed a deal with Syncrude Canada, the huge energy corporation, that will pay them 50 million dollars for the name of the new stadium for the next 2 years. Syncrude Stadium is a ballpark modeled after Shea Stadium in New York. With the ball park officially opened, the Roughnecks are now trying to fill the park with an exhibition game or two.
