Back on top and hoping to stay there. With Greif, Wifford and Fife all still hanging around Sask looks to still be in contention. With the loss of Wrzinski this off season, the Yellow Jackets have brought up highly touted pitching prospect Marv Bradshaw.
When asked what he thought about this season owner and gm eric cochran had this to say. "Last year was tough, we really thought we had a chance. As long as Greif and Wifford stick around will be happy with nothing less then a championship."
Only recently picking back up the pace in the farmers east, there is a lot to be said about Sasks chance of even making it to the play offs. This is obviously the first goal for any team, and hopefully the yellow jackets can get over there last season league championship loss to the mudcats, and realize this as well.
