A pissed off guy

(CBL Newswire) - By Troy 'Hell' Raiser - West Bay Herald

No needs to say that LF Jonathan Molson was pissed off after he read the last Calgary's article. First and foremost, Hall, Lauw and Wensloff decided to retire because of the ‘superhero’ attitude of the batters. As per Molson, they were arrogant and had a no respect for their pitchers, pretending that “in Calgary, only batters can be stars”.

Still per Molson, none of the Rampart’s batters required Bernier to trade Marcel Orren. What his former coach said in this article about trading Orren is everything but true. “He (Bernier) went to the locker room and started to yell at Marcel about his supposedly poor recent performance (Orren was below .290 at that time). Then he grabbed a baseball bat, destroyed the Gatorade cooler and looked at me and said: ‘If you can’t do better than that, you’re next!’ At this point, both Marcel and I knew that was the end of our careers in Calgary.”

Since their acquisition by West Bay, Molson and Orren are greatly motivated by the ambiance in “The Cemetery”. “Yount, Cone and Bonnici were enthusiastic about getting some help to sustain the team average above the .300 and they made sure that we felt it.” reported Molson.

Those two guys are doing so well in West Bay that Stephane Cote changed his mind and decided to keep them in the team. “My original intent was to trade the two for a very good starter. After few wins in a row, I was curious to see on how many games we could win if we kept them with the team. I have to say that I’m completely satisfied. I just can’t wait to match up against Calgary in exhibition game next year and beat them in front of their fans.”

Stay tuned. The war is not over.
