This Gatorade Cooler Thing

(CBL Newswire) - By Lehcim Reinreb of the Calgary Sun

In my last article, I wrote the story of four guys who took a team on their shoulders and took it where it should be: near the top of the Farmers’ Central Division, the best division in the history of the CBL.

Troy ‘hell’ Raiser of West Bay Herald came out with a different story saying Michel Bernier, the distinguish owner of our Calgary Remparts, yelled at his players and destroyed a Gatorade Cooler with a baseball bat.

Those accusations are wrong and we ask Bernier what really happened. "I was walking in the locker room with a baseball bat." Bernier recalled "I slipped on something and while I was falling to the ground, the baseball bat unfortunately hit the Gatorade cooler. Marcel Orren and Jonathan Molson were in the basement in a special closet installed for them and the team’s pitching staff so they didn’t witness this terrible accident."

So this case is closed. "Anyway, they might say in West Bay that only batters can be star in Calgary." said Kris Plank who once was in the Skulls organization. "The fact is they never had stars, pitchers or batters, and as one of two teams that never made the playoffs in the CBL, they most show respect to the teams who have success."
