Starting Pitcher | Toronto Polar Bears

Pitching
He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. Atkinson can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. His stuff becomes less sharp as he gets into the late innings. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
His pickoff move is only fair. He tends to fall off slightly to the first-base side of the mound, making him vulnerable to bunts toward third base. He makes up for that minor flaw by being aggressive in fielding his position. Atkinson is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Atkinson has some pop in his swing.

2025 Outlook
If Atkinson doesn't perform, the Toronto Polar Bears won't hesitate to send him down to the minors. I just don't know if The Toronto Polar Bears are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
