Red Bacon   Center Fielder | Free Agents Hitting The book on Bacon is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Free Agents do tend to sit Bacon when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Bacon doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield.
