Virel Blyther
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One of the nice things about Virel is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Blyther is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Blyther always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Blyther isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Blyther you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.
2025 Outlook Blyther flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
