Packy Boedecker   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. When you throw a curveball, it better break. Hanging curves equal earned runs in this league, you just can't get away with them. Unfortunately, Boedecker's curveball tends to hang. This man owns lefties. Put it this way, if your lineup is full of them, you might want rethink your lineup. Defense & Hitting He's average in terms of controlling the running game. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Boedecker is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Boedecker has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Boedecker as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook AA isn't the right place for Boedecker. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down for some minor retooling.
