Kenny Brandom   First Baseman | Free Agents Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Brandom hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Brandom to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.           -- Moostard Nyman
