Sam Brinsdon
Relief Pitcher | Charlottetown Blues
Pitching Brinsdon also has a solid changeup that he'll use at any point in the count. His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. Brinsdon has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. The one thing I must say I don't like about Brinsdon is how easily rattled he gets. If he makes a mistake to a hitter and the guy winds up on second or third, you can pretty much count on the guy scoring. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.
Defense & Hitting His pickoff move is only fair. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Brinsdon is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Brinsdon has some pop in his swing.
