Erik Brown
Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Brown is an explosive lefthanded hitter who thrives in key situations. Brown was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Erik Brown to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Brown doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. Brown doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. His arm is accurate enough.
