Third Baseman | Grand Rapids Red Dogs

Hitting
Carter was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He doesn't perform well against right-handed pitching. He uses the entire field and has gap power.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. Carter isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2025 Outlook
Carter performance in AAA is making it difficult for the Grand Rapids Red Dogs to ignore him much longer. Expect his name to be on the September call-up list.
