Ray Case
Right Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Case is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Case always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Case isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. Case plays mostly right field, where his mediocre range and throwing arm are less than ideal. He'd be better off in left.
2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Case to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
