Hitting
Collins has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He likes to pull the ball, but don't be surprised if he puts the ball the opposite field from time to time. He's a smart batter and takes good note of how the fielders are shading him.
Baserunning & Defense
Collins isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. His attention sometimes wanders in the field, especially when the London Mustangs are out of the race. His arm is accurate enough.
2025 Outlook
The London Mustangs were smart, they locked Collins up to a long term contract. There's no question in anyone's mind he's a franchise player. Collins is ready for the big time. The London Mustangs will call him up as soon as they can figure out who to send down. Collins is in charge when he's at the plate.
