Jeff Darwin
Shortstop | London Mustangs
Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Darwin was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He uses the entire field and has gap power.
Baserunning & Defense His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Darwin doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.
2025 Outlook AA isn't the right place for Darwin. Expect the London Mustangs to send him down for some minor retooling.
