Jumbo Degidio   Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting One of the nice things about Jumbo is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Degidio is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Degidio always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. Baserunning & Defense Degidio isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Degidio you're not putting him in for his glove.
