Romello Dighton
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One of the nice things about Romello is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Dighton hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Minor league scouts have accused Dighton of being a liability in the field. Romello's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
