Rhett Dilcher   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting The book on Dilcher is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Dilcher always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. It's hard to explain but Rhett Dilcher plays much better on the road then he does at home. Baserunning & Defense Dilcher has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough. 2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Rhett Dilcher is doing in AA.
