Martin Dobbs   Catcher | Free Agents Hitting Dobbs never has been a patient hitter. Dobbs always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
