George Doron
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Doron is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect George Doron to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.
Baserunning & Defense Doron is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.
2025 Outlook Doron was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year. I think The Retired or Inactive Players just didn't want to be left out of the Rule-V draft, why else would you sign Doron?
