Ambrose Finlayson   Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting One of the nice things about Ambrose is that he's a real clutch hitter. If it's late in the game, and there are men on base, you want this guy at the plate. Finlayson never has been a patient hitter. Finlayson always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Finlayson is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. When you play Finlayson you're not putting him in for his glove.
