Foote never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Foote isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. Minor league scouts have accused Foote of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2025 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
