Buzz Frederick   Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting The book on Frederick is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Frederick isn't a fluid shortstop, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Buzz's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Frederick is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. 2025 Outlook Frederick has below average skills, even for the low minors.
