Relief Pitcher | Cold Lake Mud Cats

Pitching
He's a finesse pitcher, relying on movement and location. He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. Gackle throws a nice sinker... The rookies never seem to know when it's coming. His curveball is solid; he throws it better than your average reliever. His fastball is just average, and therefore he relies heavily on placing it in different parts of the strike zone or setting it up with his curveball. He attacks lefties and righties the same way.

Defense & Hitting
He's average in terms of controlling the running game. Gackle is nothing special in the field. Gackle is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Gackle has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Cold Lake Mud Cats have been known to use Gackle as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2025 Outlook
The Cold Lake Mud Cats were smart, they locked Gackle up to a long term contract. Gackle has impressed at the A-ball level. Look for the Cold Lake Mud Cats to give him a shot in Double or Triple A before the year is up. I really like what this guy brings to the table.
