Hitting
In past seasons, Galatin has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. David's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Galatin doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.
