Kai Gambler   Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching Gambler is a control pitcher; when he's on he has pinpoint control. He can get groundballs when he needs them in a jam. Gambler also has a decent changeup. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders. Defense & Hitting Gambler is nothing special in the field. He doesn't hold runners very close, which gives his catcher a bit of a workout. Gambler is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Gambler has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Gambler as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook If Gambler doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
