Dean Gantz   First Baseman | Regina Pirates Hitting He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Regina Pirates do tend to sit Gantz when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Dean Gantz to pull the ball. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough.
