Mort Gentle   Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting Gentle is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. Gentle tends to zone in on the power-alleys. Most of his outfield hits are to left and right center. Baserunning & Defense His arm is below average but not a major weakness given his solid defense.
