Fraser George
Starting Pitcher | Quebec Bulldogs
Pitching He has the ability to coax groundballs, which helps him succeed. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. George throws a nice sinker... The rookies never seem to know when it's coming. George also has a decent changeup. The Quebec Bulldogs hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. The running movement on his pitches makes life tougher on lefties than righties.
Defense & Hitting George is nothing special in the field. Basestealers have succeeded against George because his pickoff move is weak for a lefthander. George is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but George has some pop in his swing.
2025 Outlook AA isn't the right place for George. Expect the Quebec Bulldogs to send him down for some minor retooling. I just don't know if The Quebec Bulldogs are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
