Con Gesek   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching He keeps his pitches low in the strike zone and throws a heavy ball. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. If you're going in to face Gesek, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Gesek, and that's saying a lot. But Gesek, do us a favor. Stop throwing that changeup. It looks like a beachball. In his first taste of the majors, he has kept lefthanders in check but wasn't as effective against righties. Defense & Hitting Gesek is nothing special in the field. He doesn't hold runners very close, which gives his catcher a bit of a workout. Gesek is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Gesek has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Gesek as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook But if you ask me, I'll pass on Gesek.           -- Moostard Nyman
