Josh Gimar   Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. If you're going in to face Gimar, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. But Gimar, do us a favor. Stop throwing that changeup. It looks like a beachball. This man owns lefties. Put it this way, if your lineup is full of them, you might want rethink your lineup. Defense & Hitting He doesn't have much of a pickoff move and he's slow getting the ball to home plate out of the set position. Gimar is agile on the mound, though he makes needless errors when his concentration wanders. Gimar is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Gimar has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Gimar as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook Gimar was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year. I think The Retired or Inactive Players just didn't want to be left out of the Rule-V draft, why else would you sign Gimar? But if you ask me, I'll pass on Gimar.           -- Moostard Nyman
