Jafar Grigg   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Grigg always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Jafar's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Grigg doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. 2025 Outlook Grigg flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
