Left Fielder | Guelph Storm
Gubler chases high fastballs and offspeed pitches tailing away, striking out his share of times. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to left-center.
Baserunning & Defense
Gubler isn't a fluid left fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Gubler isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
