Samuel Gurgick   Relief Pitcher | St Paul Pride Pitching Gurgick's control is among the best in the game. His curveball is solid; he throws it better than your average reliever. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders. Defense & Hitting Gurgick does an average job of holding runners. Gurgick is nothing special in the field. Gurgick is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Gurgick has some pop in his swing.           -- Moostard Nyman
