Catcher | Creston Kokanee

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Creston Kokanee do tend to sit Hammonds when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Hammonds doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.
