Hesseldenz always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Hesseldenz doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.

In one full big league season, Hesseldenz already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
