Curt Holwell   Starting Pitcher | Creston Kokanee Pitching He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. A groundball pitcher, Holwell needs to have sharp command to succeed. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. Holwell's fastball is a tick above average, in the 90-91 MPH range on most nights. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting Holwell's move to first base is average. Holwell is a maximum-effort pitcher who's slow off the mound. He could help himself by flagging down a few more grounders. Holwell is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher.
