Muddy Horgan   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Horgan always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Horgan isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. Horgan is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. 2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Muddy Horgan is doing in AA.
