Joel Hossik   Shortstop | Free Agents Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Hossik is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Hossik always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is well above average both in strength and accuracy.
