Pop Hurst
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting Hurst always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. He uses the entire field and has gap power.
Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Pop's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Hurst isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
