Chang-Gon Jung   Relief Pitcher | Fredericton Bandits Pitching His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. Jung also has a decent changeup. The Fredericton Bandits hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting He never has controlled the running game. Jung's follow-through leaves him in a vulnerable position, so he has trouble with comebackers. Jung is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Jung has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Fredericton Bandits have been known to use Jung as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook I can't say I know what The Fredericton Bandits were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best. Jung has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Fredericton Bandits will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
