Lester Kiddy   First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Kiddy has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Kiddy is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Kiddy always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Kiddy when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense Kiddy is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. Minor league scouts have accused Kiddy of being a liability in the field. Lester's arm leaves a little to be a desired. 2025 Outlook Kiddy flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
