Hitting
Kim never has been a patient hitter. Kim always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Kim also has toned down the careless and overaggressive mistakes he used to make. He's still adept at making sliding catches on balls near the foul line. His arm is accurate enough. Kim isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
