Roscoe Kirin@   Starting Pitcher | St Paul Pride Pitching He can get groundballs when he needs them in a jam. His slider is sharp and breaks both horizontally and vertically. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. This man owns lefties. Put it this way, if your lineup is full of them, you might want rethink your lineup. Defense & Hitting He shows a good pickoff move and never lets runners detract from his pitching. Kirin is nothing special in the field. Kirin is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Kirin has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The St Paul Pride have been known to use Kirin as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook The St Paul Pride signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Kirin like a hot potato if something better comes along.           -- Ska Nyman, A-Ball Scout
